SeaSight is a range of smart security solutions designed to protect your vessel from theft or unauthorised movement. Our products provide physical protection, sensor-based monitoring, and self-powered tracking, giving you complete peace of mind wherever you are.
SeaSight is specifically designed for the marine environment, recognising that boats naturally move at moorings, in marinas, and in yards, and intelligently distinguishing normal movement from genuine security threats.
-
Secure is our first-line physical protection, designed to act as a strong visual deterrent and physical safeguard for your vessel.
Shield is a sensor-based system that provides real-time monitoring and instant alerts via the SeaSight app, keeping you informed if anything changes.
Stealth is a fully independent, self-powered tracking device that continues to transmit location data even if the boat’s main power is cut, offering an additional layer of discreet protection and peace of mind.
The three products are designed to work independently or together as a layered security system
-
SeaSight Secure features a high-security, marine-grade cable and padlock. The padlock uses a restricted, non-duplicable key.
Authorised harbourmasters and boatyards hold a master key compatible with all Secure units, ensuring emergency access across the SeaSight network.
This approach balances strong owner security with practical marina and harbour operations, avoiding destructive cutting in emergencies.
-
Shield uses a smart mooring buoy paired with an onboard base station. If your vessel moves or disconnects from its mooring, you’ll receive real-time alerts through the SeaSight app.
You can also immobilise your boat or trigger a siren remotely.
Shield is designed to understand typical marine movement such as tide, wind, and wash, reducing false alarms common with automotive trackers.
-
Stealth is a self-powered tracking unit that can be installed discreetly in a secure location on your vessel. It continues transmitting its location even if the main power is cut, providing an extra layer of protection.
Stealth can also be used on vessels or assets with no permanent power supply, such as tenders, trailers, and stored craft.
-
SeaSight Stealth is designed for long-term operation, with a typical battery life of 3-5 years depending on reporting frequency and movement. The batteries are not maintained by the user and must be serviced by an authorised dealer. We would normally exchange the unit at the cost of replacement batteries.
-
SeaSight Secure and SeaSight Stealth can be installed by the owner with no specialist tools.
SeaSight Shield can be owner-installed if they are comfortable with basic boat wiring. We would recommend professional fitting by approved SeaSight partners, marinas, or boatyards depending on owner preference. We are very happy to be contacted by your preferred fitter to discuss installation if you prefer.
-
No specialist equipment is required. Shield may require connection to the vessel’s power supply, while Stealth operates independently on its internal battery. All configuration is completed through the SeaSight app.
-
All SeaSight products with monitoring capabilities can be accessed via iOS and Android apps, or via the web portal on your laptop.
Multiple boats and assets can be viewed from a single account.
-
You’ll receive instant alerts through the SeaSight app. For Shield users, you can immobilise the vessel or trigger an audible siren remotely.
This ensures you’re always the first to know and can take action immediately.
Alerts can also be shared with trusted contacts if required.
-
SeaSight devices store events securely and transmit alerts as soon as mobile coverage is restored. Where coverage is available to the device but not to your phone, alerts will be delivered once your device reconnects.
-
